What a great review on this EGO model. I'm not sure how big of your yard is but to cut about 1/3 of an acre with some valley slope on this model do you think it will cut in a single charge with power 2? How long do you think this model will cut based on your yard size vs. the appx. specs of land/grass i provided? Thank you very much.

I mulch part of my lawn and bag a small part close to the pool. With most mowers, I just attach the bag. But on this mower, I have to stop and change blades every time I want to mulch then again to bag???

Add grease to spindle before putting nut on, prevents rust.

Great review, thank you. But that whine on the self-drive is a deal-breaker for me. I gather the 5300 has a different drive system which is quieter, but that is unnecessarily large and heavy for my use, so I think I'll stick to a mower I have to push.

I have the same model as you do, my tractor barely has 7 hrs, last time I was mowing, it suddenly stopped working, the engine didn’t want to start, then I noticed my fuel tank was totally empty, it drained into the oil, I took it to a shop for repair, hopefully it is not a big issue and if so I hope warranty covers it, I’m not happy at all

I've got a 2008 model. Few batteries and several deck belts but other than that no problems whatsoever. Cant believe it still has the original drive belt. Lucky me.

I replaced the deck belts and the transmission belt, now I can’t start the engine! Is that possible I did not tighten enough the bottom nut under the engine? The battery is new, and all wires are good including the spark plug. Any suggestions?😢

There are tons of plans for lids that fold out into bench seats with seat backs. I have 5 toddler grand kids now and it's time for their sandbox at grandpas house. Wahoo! Next comes the tree house! I love being a grandpa!

I was having trouble with a lack of sufficient power to cut the grass even though the blades were turning (it just sounded "weak", tho it did cut somewhat better when pressing the buttons to power move). On a lark I took the blades off and found the fan had melted some in the middle. Any idea what might have caused that? I have another on order.

Instead of a cap why not put a ball valve. Then when it come time to change oil you open ball valve. That’s it. I know an idiot gonna say what if the handles hit open. Well take off the packing nut along with the lever. Put packing nut back on. Then all You use is some pliers to open Valve. 3/8 ball valve.
